Apricot
Privacy Policy
Effective August 21, 2026
Applies to: The Apricot mobile application (the “App”), available at apricotbabyapp.com.
Momentum Aksiyon Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. (“Apricot,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operating the App under the Apricot brand, is responsible for your information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge this Policy.
1. What Apricot Is (and Isn't)
Apricot is a newborn-care guide for parents. It answers questions, helps you log feeding, sleep, diapers, and crying, and can look at a photo you choose to send. Apricot is not a medical device, is not a diagnostic tool, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Answers are informational. Always follow your pediatrician’s guidance. If you think your baby needs urgent care, contact a clinician or emergency services — do not wait on the App.
2. Who the App Is For
The App is for adults (18+) who are caring for a baby. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the App is not directed at children. Baby information is provided by the parent or caregiver, not by the child. If you believe we have information about a child under 13, email support@aestheticmatch.com and we will delete it.
3. Information We Collect
Account & household
- Your name and email (from Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password).
- Household membership, including a co-parent you invite if you choose to share.
Baby profile (provided by you)
- Baby’s name, birth date / age, sex, and details you enter such as weight.
Logs & tools
- Feeding, sleep, diaper, crying, and other events you log, plus guided-tool entries and doctor-visit summaries you generate.
Chat and photos (see Section 4)
- Messages you send the in-app assistant, and the replies.
- Photos you choose to send (for example of a rash or skin concern). These may show your baby. They are stored in your private account if accepted, so you can look back.
Subscription
- Subscription status, plan, and renewal/cancellation events. Purchases go through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card number.
Device, analytics & attribution
- App interactions, device and app version, and similar diagnostics.
- If you allow tracking, an advertising identifier (IDFA) plus identifiers such as IDFV, used for install attribution (see Section 6).
- If you grant permission, a push-notification token and your notification preferences.
4. AI, Chat & Photos of Your Baby (Please Read)
The App uses AI to answer you. We ask for permission in the App before anything is sent, separately for chat and for photos:
- Chat: your message, plus basics you gave us (such as age and weight), are sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.), our service provider under contract, solely to write the reply.
- Photos: a photo you choose to send, along with your baby’s age, is sent to OpenAI so it can look at it and help answer. Agreeing to send text is not agreeing to send a photo.
- Per OpenAI’s API terms, data sent through their API is not used to train their models, is not sold, and is not used for advertising. OpenAI retains API data only transiently for abuse monitoring (up to 30 days) and then deletes it.
- If a photo is accepted, we keep it in your private account while the account exists so you can look back. You can delete everything at any time (Section 8).
5. How We Use Your Information
We use it to: answer your questions; keep your logs, trends, and conversations; personalize guidance to your baby’s age; manage your subscription; send notifications you’ve enabled; measure, secure, and improve the App; attribute installs (Section 6); provide support; and comply with law.
6. Advertising Identifiers & Attribution
The App may ask for permission to track (Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt). If you allow it, we pass the IDFA (and related device identifiers) to Airbridge so we can measure where installs came from. This is used for attribution, not to sell your baby’s data. If you decline, the App still works; we simply do not use IDFA for tracking.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and do not share baby photos or chat for advertising.
We share information with providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, including: OpenAI (chat and photo analysis — Section 4); Apple (sign-in and In-App Purchase); Superwall (paywall and subscription status); Airbridge (install attribution); and our hosting and infrastructure providers (including account storage).
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect safety. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your information while your account is active, including baby photos stored in your private account. You can delete everything in the App:
- Open Settings → Delete account (also available on the subscription-locked screen if you are signed in but not subscribed).
- Confirm. This permanently deletes the baby profile, logs, trends, conversations, and photos on that account. It cannot be undone.
- If you share a household with a co-parent, leaving may remove your access while the other parent keeps the household data.
- Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings first if you want billing to stop.
After deletion we delete or de-identify associated personal information within 30 days, except limited records we must keep for legal, security, or financial compliance.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California (CCPA/CPRA) and EU/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR) residents have additional rights and may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email support@aestheticmatch.com.
11. International Transfers
The App is operated from Türkiye. Service providers process data primarily in the United States. If you use the App from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in those countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version on this site and in the App and update the Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
